QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Where are you based?
I am based in Waterford, Ireland but I LOVE to travel. I have covered weddings all over Ireland and as far away as Italy, Iceland & even India…so that is not a problem!
How long have you been a Wedding Photographer?
I have been doing this for over 10 years now (eeek!) and I really feel like I'm just getting into my groove now. I still absolutely love it.
We are REALLY nervous about ‘posed' photos!
I hear this all the time and I want you not to worry one little bit. This is totally normal and I can promise that you will surprise yourself! My couple images are not at all stiff, in fact, some of my couples have told me that in hindsight the couple shoot was the highlight of their day. (After actually tying the knot of course!)
I do offer a little direction, I might ask you to hold hands and walk in a certain direction or stand near a huge window etc ...we will normally get those ‘money shots’ in between poses. Murphy’s law!

We don’t want to spend ages on couple photos & not see our guests!
Of course, you are so right! I pride myself on turning around couple shots very quickly, allow 20/30 minutes for your couple shoot depending on our chosen location which we will agree on before your big day.
We would like lots of ‘documentary images’!
You will get documentary images along with beautiful detail shots, some showstopper couple images and a set of great family portraits.
What about family photos?
The bulk of your images will be candid, documentary images but I truly believe that family photos are extremely important at weddings. I also know that you do not want to be kidnapped for ages so we plan a list of essential group shots in advance. I hijack a groomsman or a bridesmaid to help rally the troops and we turn them around quick smart, getting you back to the main event with a glass of bubbles in your hand in record time!
Will you be bossy?!
Hell no! My philosophy is to let your day unfold naturally.
I may, however, prompt you when it is time to put your dress on or direct you to a gorgeous big window for that wow portrait. There are many little things that I have learned along the way to make your day run as smooth as possible.

How long will you stay?
I love to shoot all day and night to capture the crazy dance moves and the part when you kick your shoes off, Usually to 12 hours but I do offer shorter coverage until you are seated for dinner if that is what you would prefer. Please check out my packages for your preferred option.
Do you require a dinner?
That would be lovely, especially if I stay for dancing. You need to fuel me so that I can keep up on the dance floor to capture those crazy moves when ‘Don’t stop believin’ comes on!
Do I get all my photos?
Yes, you get all of your photos in high resolution & unwatermarked, I don't hold any of them hostage!!
However, we may try a few shots on the day that just don't work, there may be a heavy shadow, you may be blinking or Uncle Jim may be pulling a funny face!! I will not include any of those because I'm kind.

How long will I have to wait for photos?
Between 5-6 weeks in peak season, less time during off-peak but I will keep you updated.
Is there a contract?

Absolutely!
